Scriptural references for: Obey your own conscience Verbatim references: None
This is the day the Lord has made, be happy and glad in it. Arise with a song in your heart, singing His praises, giving thanks for all His provisions. Walk, hand in hand with God all day long, trusting Him to lead you into the pathways of righteousness for His namesake. Follow after that which is holy and good and do the things that in your heart you know is right. Never go against your own conscience, no matter who urges you to do so; they will not have to live with the resulting feelings of guilt, but you will. Brethren, once you start down the pathway of ignoring your own conscience, the resulting feelings of guilt and self recrimination will destroy any hope of happiness you may have had for life. Jesus said, " What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul." |
