The keys of everlasting life are the love of God, the hope of glory and the faith in Jesus Christ.
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

The hope of glory gives you a reason to keep going.

The faith in Jesus Christ is what makes it all possible.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

If a person loses his hope of glory, he doesn't have any motivation to stay on the pathway of life.
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

If a person doesn't have faith in Jesus Christ it is not possible to walk the pathway of everlasting
life.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
Seek then to abound in love, hope and faith, all three.
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
