The good Shepherd

I am the good Shepherd sayeth the Lord, Jesus Christ.
A good shepherd never loses his sheep, but they dwell safely in his care.
A good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep and will not flee from the danger even to save his own life.
A good shepherd leads his sheep to green pastures where they can feed in contentment and he never lets the sheep go hungry.
A good shepherd cares for his sheep when they are sick or injured, and he never forsakes them no matter how desperate their state.
A good shepherd picks up a lamb and carries it when it can't keep up with the flock.
