Be not content with shallow religious thought and slogans, which are usually devoid of any true
wisdom or understanding.
But, instead ponder about the deep things of the Christian Faith.
In doing so, you are sinking roots deep into God's infinite truths which have infinite depth.
That is why His truths are called mysteries.
The word mystery means that no matter how much you learn about a truth, there still remains
much undiscovered.
Jesus taught by being deeply rooted in God's truths, Satan would not be able to shake you.
When difficult times come you would not perish or fall, but would remain steadfast through every
storm and gale.
Be not afraid of thinking too much about God's ways, but rather be afraid of being too
shallow.
