Giving requires having

Can a person whose heart is filled full of hate, resentfulness, and bitterness bring forth joy, peace and love to other people's lives?
Can a person whose mind is filled with thoughts of doubt, discouragement and despair bring inspiration and hope into the lives of others around him?
Can a shipwrecked soul, a burned out light bulb, be a source of light in the household of God?
Do men gather figs and grapes from thistles and thorn bushes?
Can a blind man safely lead other blind men across streets filled with heavy traffic?
Brethren! In order to be able to give, you must first have.
In order to have, you must first receive.
In order to receive you must first ask.
In order to ask you must find.
In order to find you must seek.
Jesus said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and the Father will grant the increase."
