My ears heard the sweet sound of angels
singing, "Glory to God in the highest, and
on earth peace among men of good will."
I went and my eyes did see a baby lying in
a manger, the Savior of all mankind, who is
Christ the Lord.
My heart leaped with joy when I beheld the
babe's face by the flickering lamp's light in
the stillness of the star studded night.
This is He who will save all faithful men's
souls and shall reign King of Kings and
Lord of Lords forever and ever was my thought.
How wonderful, how marvelous it is to be able
to be among the first to see the face of our
Savior.
I did fall in my knees with the other shepherds
and there we did glorify and praise God for all
we heard and seen. Hallelujah!
