If you want to know what effect seeing the Face of God would have upon the feelings of your heart, you need only look upon the faces of group of little children who have grown to love you.
The feeling you get is almost identical with seeing the Face of God.
2 Chronicles 7
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Isaiah 11
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Brethren, this testimony comes from a man who has experienced both and seen both.
Genesis 32
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

The amount of love you feel in your heart when you see the Face of God or the faces of little children who jump up and down with hearts filled with love and joy when they see you is enormous.
Matthew 18
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

For Jesus said, "Forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
Matthew 19
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

Unless a person becomes like a little child he shall in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 18
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

For the ways of the Heavenly Father is like onto that of little children; innocent and abounding in the love and joy, forevermore.
